Budget for the services has just resently been implemented in health clinics and the aim is to increase accessibility to psychologists as first treatment. Even though research show that an online treatment can be equally beneficial to clients as an in-clinic treatment, this method has not been widely used.
The solution gives people, wherever located in Iceland, an opportunity to attend to treatment based on cognitive behavioral therapy which has been proven to decrease symptoms of mild to moderate anxiety and depression.

The solution has been approved for online security according to instructions on information security when providing e-health services, administered by the Directorate of Health.
It may be predicted that an early invention into mild and moderate depressive disorders and anxiety might prevent further and more serious mental disorders and therefore prevent absence from work, administered drug cost and hospital stay.
The treatment sessions cost less and are suitable for subsidisation from trade unions.
A secure authorised online sign-in has been approved by the Directorate of Health.
